HEY GENTS,

i have a set of bi-xenon projector retrofit kits complete with mini projectors, mounting brackets for H7 bulb slots and chrome plastic shrouds. the kit is selling for R650. the kit bolts into your existing driving light bulb housing with the shroud over it. made to look better than the stock ones.

let me know if anyone is interested.

do you know how the light output compares to oem?

If I am not mistaken I know these projectors, and the light output out of them is very good and uniform, also the cut-off is a very pretty blue

Personally I am more interested in D2S projectors due to them being a standard xenon type bulb, but I already brought in 2 sets of D2S bi-xenon similar to these ones a while back.

halogens are simple, less things to break, bulbs cost nothing and i dont have a problem with the light output...

if i get after market xenons i have to worry about ballasts failing and depending on bulb type replacement bulb prices are so bad you may as well buy a new xenon kit just for the bulbs :yuck:

Then I would rather suggest sticking with normal reflector based lights for halogens, as halogens and projectors don't work so well together :(

Well from my experience the light output out of a projector + halogen bulbs is really poor, worse than with normal reflector type lights.

were you using the right bulb for the projector? because the light spread from the bulb into the unit is very important...
